 💚 Simple Past Tense

        A. We use the simple past tense to talk about actions or situations that happened in the past.

        B. The verbs used in the simple past tense are regular verbs and irregular verbs.

       Time connectives can be used to show chronological order. One of the features of a recount text is the use of words that show the order of events. Here are some of the words ;

afterwards                                              before that                                        after a while

at this moment                                       following that                                   meanwhile

💛The use of Conjunctions

      You can use conjunctions to link words, phrases, and clauses as in the following examples ;

      - I ate pizza and pasta.

      - Call the teacher when the students are ready for the test.
